The first paid app I've ever deleted.

The gameplay in this app is insultingly simple: see a shape, draw it. The speed and rhythm of play are theoretically tied to the song you play, but it played almost identically for a slow Norah Jones song as it did for a peppy Squirrel Nut Zippers track.

Yes, it's well designed, yes it's kinda pretty, but after the 20th time you draw a "7" right after drawing an "O" you start to wonder if there aren't better things you could be doing with your time, like watching paint dry, or maybe learning the secret language of cats. Or just straight up watching Sesame Street, which you'll feel like you are doing anyway, with all the brightly colored letters and numbers sprinting across the screen.

Really, don't waste your time or money. It's not the worst app ever, but it's mind-crushingly stupid and you're worth more than that.

Something different in the Musical Genre

Only got to play it a little while, but it's a very fun little game. The basic premise is that you have to draw the shapes you see before they run into your little boom box/wall-e bot. This is pretty easy at first but gets really challenging as the game progresses and the shapes come at you faster and faster.

For those thinking that it will be something like a Tap Tap... it's not. The music doesn't seem to play a big part in things, at least not in terms of the basic rhythm games that you might be used to playing. But that's not a bad thing. It's a different game and it's still fun to play.

In fact, you can almost look at all the different songs as different score boards. This allows you to compete against people who have the same tastes in music that you do. It's also nice to listen to the songs that you want to hear while giving your brain a little work out.

The only real problem I've run across so far seems to be in the recognition of my music library. It will let me pick a song from my play list, but both times I've tried it said it was playing the song I wanted, but instead played something else from my playlist. And if the song I picked was longer than the one it actually played it meant that I heard a little bit of another song for a while. I will have to make sure that I'm not doing something wrong, so I'm not dinging the devs too hard for it now. When I did pick a song from the scoreboard that song played fine.

It's a different game than most music games, but still has a "one more time" quality to it. And remember that it has more scoreboards than any other game out there.

Fix controls please

Sometimes when I draw a shape perfectly, it does not register in the game and then I lose points. Please fix this developers.
